Justin Bieber takes to Instagram to reveal facial paralysis, postpones shows

By BBN Staff: Singer Justin Bieber revealed via Instagram this week that he is suffering from facial paralysis, a condition due to a diagnosis of Ramsay Hunt syndrome.

“As you can see this eye is not blinking. I can’t smile on this side of my face… So there’s full paralysis on this side of my face,” Bieber said.

Medical experts say that the Ramsay Hunt syndrome is when a shingles outbreak affects the facial nerve.

Bieber’s Justice World Tour announced that 3 of the shows would be postponed as a result of his health condition.

Bieber is asking fans to be patient and said that at this time he is “physically, obviously, not capable of doing them”.

The Canadian singer also stated that he is doing facial exercises to get back to normal but doesn’t know how long it will take to recover.
