Seven beautiful contestants vying to be the next Miss Universe Belize

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Seven contestants are vying to be the next beauty ambassador and be crowned Miss Universe Belize. 

The contestants, Kaira Nunez, Alina Scott, Kenia Tejeda, Sigourney Usher, Samantha Singh, Ashley Lightburn and Grace Brown were officially introduced via the organization’s official Facebook page.

 Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the pageant was not held in 2021. 

Reigning Miss Universe Belize, Iris Salguero represented Belize at the 69th Miss Universe Pageant held in Florida last year. Salguero was the 31st beauty ambassador to represent Belize at the international pageant.

The Miss Universe Belize pageant will be held later this year.  The winner of the Miss Universe Belize will represent Belize at the 71st edition of the pageant.
