Anahie Blanco scores five, Kaite Jones & Aaliyah Herbert four each in Bay City’s 19-0 rout of Corozal United Warriors in NAWL B

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Anahie Blanco scored five goals while her teammates Kaite Jones and Aaliyah Herbert hammered in four each as Bay City’s 19-0 rolled over the Corozal United Warriors in NAWL B.

That was the biggest victory in NAWL B this season.

Blanco scored in the 2’, 10’, 33’, 45’+, and 68’. Herbert found the target in the 15, 20’, 70’, and 90 while Jones scored in the 36’, 59’, 81’, and 83’.

Darina Tzul got her own hat trick scoring in the 4’, 51’, and 60’.

The other goals were converted by Alisha Terry in the 29’, Kennara Trapp in the 44’, and Shante Chacon in the 87’.

Blanco finished as NAWL B top scorer with 20 goals followed by Jones with 14 and Tzul with 11.

Bay City complete the regular season with a perfect record: 24 points from eight games and an amazing 75 goals and none allowed.

The Corozal United Warriors are in last place with no points in seven games. They have a backmatch against the Santa Elena Strikers which is scheduled for Saturday in San Ignacio.
