A passing tropical wave will support moist and unstable conditions according to the National Meteorological Service.
Skies will be mostly cloudy today and tonight with some outbreaks of showers and thunderstorms affecting most areas. A gradual decrease in activity is expected tonight and tomorrow morning.
High temperatures are 84 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 88 degrees inland and 80 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 78 degrees along the coast, 72 degrees inland and 66 degrees in the hills.
Winds are easterly at 10 to 20 knots and gusty. The sea will be moderate to rough with waves of four to seven feet. A small craft caution remains in effect for gusty winds and locally rough seas near heavy showers and thunderstorms.
Tides will be high at 8:14 this morning and 10:15 this evening and low at 3:51 this afternoon. Sunset is at 6:27 this evening and sunrise on Tuesday morning is at 5:17.
For Tuesday expect cloudy intervals with a few showers and isolated thunderstorms, mainly in the south.
