Cayo Dreamers beat Wagiya SC United 2-0, capture 2nd place in NAWL B regular season

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Cayo Dreamers downed Wagiya SC United 2-0 at the Norman Broaster in San Ignacio capturing second place in the National Amateur Women’s League B on Saturday.

Daysi Paiz opened the hostilities in the 20’ and three minutes later Allyshia Bowman sealed the deal for the final 2-0.

Paiz finished the regular season with seven goals while Bowman converted five.

The win propelled the Cayo Dreamers to 18 points from six wins and two losses.

Wagiya SC United finished the regular season in the third spot with 12 points.

Both teams will face each other in the NAWL B semifinals which kick off on Saturday, June 25.
