Belize Athletics Association holding a raffle to help send team to Central American Senior Championship in Managua in July

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Belize Athletics Association is raising funds to send a National Senior Athletics Team to the Central American Seniors Championship in Managua, Nicaragua in July.

The regional championships have been scheduled for July 2-3.

The BAA said it’s raffling a two-night stay at Sunset Caribe in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye to assist the senior athletes so they can represent in Nicaragua.

“We are calling on all athletes, past and present, and all the supporters of Athletics to join in and make this a success. Ticket contribution is only $15.00, and can be received from any BAA Executive member,” said the BAA.

“Contributions can be made at our BAA account. Belize Athletes Association, Heritage Bank Ltd., Account No. 9141103, Mobile ID: 6020416.”

The raffle will be drawn on Monday, June 27.
