By BBN Staff: A Belizean man and a Nicaraguan woman have both been charged after a dispute with their neighbor took a violent and destructive turn.
Fifty-three-year-old, Horace Niccodemus Williams Jr., and 37-year-old Elsamarie Flores Molina were arraigned separately in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, facing charges of aggravated assault and damage to property respectively.
Willimas stands accused of approaching his neighbor with a broken glass bottle in a threatening manner. He pleaded not guilty and was granted bail in the sum of $1,000 plus one surety of the same, which he was able to meet.
Molina was next to be arraigned, charged with damage to property of her neighbor’s vehicle, and windows to his home, all valued at over $2,200. She was also granted bail in the sum of $1,00 plus one surety of the same.
They are both scheduled to return to court on July 19.
