Second suspect in murder case of Gilbert Muhammed Martinez charged and remanded to prison

Clinton Percival Robinson, 23, appeared in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court where he was read a single charge of murder.

As the matter is an indictable offense, no plea was taken from Robinson and he was remanded to the Belize Central Prison until June 30, when he will appear in court alongside co-accused Floyd Wade.

Police found Martinez’s body outside his home on October 22, 2021, with multiple chop wounds. Investigations led them to Wade, who was arraigned on October 25, 2021, and also remanded to prison.
