A trough of low pressure in the northwest Caribbean Sea will keep our weather moist and unstable for the next few days according to the National Meteorological Service.
Skies will be cloudy today with sunny breaks. Tonight, skies will be mostly cloudy. Expect on and off outbreaks of showers and thunderstorms to affect most areas of the country during today and tonight.
High temperatures will reach 84 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 88 degrees inland and 80 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 76 degrees along the coast; 72 degrees inland and 66 degrees in the hills.
Winds are from the east to northeast at five to 15 knots. The sea will be choppy to rough with waves of three to seven feet. A small craft caution remains in effect for gusty winds and rough seas in heavy showers and thunderstorms.
Tides will be high at a quarter to twelve this afternoon and 7:22 this evening. The sun will set at 6:29 this evening and rise at 5:18 Saturday morning.
The outlook for Saturday and Saturday night is for cloudy conditions with some outbreaks of showers, thunderstorms and periods of rain to affect most areas of the country.
