By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Belize Tourism Board’s Licensing Unit will be hosting a series of “Meet and Greet” sessions countrywide to provide stakeholders with in-person assistance and support with their BTB licensing needs, said the Belize Tourism Board (BTB) in a press release.
BTB said the meeting will be held from June 20 to July 4
The services to be provided at these meetings, according to BTB are status and updating of licensing applications, pick-up of licenses and decals, and general queries on licensing and qualified retired persons (QRP) requirements.
BTB also said the licensing services include licenses related to hotels and tourist accommodations, tour operators, tour guides, live-aboards, and qualified retired persons.
BTB said stakeholders may register for an appointment when the meeting is held in their area at [email protected] or by calling 227-2420. During this period, walk-ins will also be accepted to address any queries or concerns.
BTB said that after the sessions which will run from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at all venues, they will be holding a special information session for tour guides at 6:00 pm. These sessions will provide updates and address queries with the upcoming tour guide licensing renewal cycle.
