COVID-19 update: 134 new cases reported heading into weekend

By Aaron Humes: The Ministry of Health and Wellness reports 134 new cases of COVID-19 countrywide today.

Three persons are now hospitalized with COVID-19 but no new deaths have been reported. The number of active cases remains at 1,985.

56 new cases were reported across the Belize District including 34 in Belize City, nine in Ladyville and seven in San Pedro Town.

Cayo reported 28 new cases including 11 in the Twin Towns and seven in Belmopan.

The northern districts reported 21 cases between them and the Southern districts 29 including 15 in Dangriga.
