Blas is expected to weaken today and through the weekend.
And, the NHC also issued an advisory on tropical depression 3E that is producing heavy rains over the southwestern portions of Guatemala and southern portions of the Mexican state of Chiapas through Sunday night.
The tropical depression is forecast to strengthen to a tropical storm later today.
