Jasmine Hartin fires back at Andrew Ashcroft with statement of her own on custody battle

By Benjamin Flowers: Today, Jasmine Hartin issued a statement regarding her custody battle with her former partner Andrew Ashcroft over their two children, challenging several statements made by Ashcroft in a statement he released on Monday.

Hartin described the entire custody process as “rushed, wrought with error and is subject to appeal,” noting that the next court hearing is scheduled for June 23. She also challenged his characterization of their business relationship, claiming that she is a 10 percent shareholder in the Alia hotel and that Ashcroft has blocked her access to her personal and business accounts.

Hartin also dismissed the criminal charges brought against her for drug possession and common assault and said that she will continue fighting for a fair trial to be reunited with her children.

“These charges have no grounding in reality and amount to attempts to defame me in advance of my trial. Civil suits are forthcoming on each of these matters,” Hartin said.

She noted that she is concerned for the well-being of her children as she has not been in communication with them in four weeks, and stresses that she is confident she will emerge from the situation with some form of joint custody arrangement.
