Popular footballer Ian Gaynair busted with over 1,000 cans of contraband beer

By Benjamin Flowers: Ian Gaynair, a popular footballer with the Belize National Football Team, has reportedly been caught with over 1,000 cans of contraband beer.

Police stopped Gaynair’s vehicle around 7:00 a.m. in Orange Walk between the villages of San Antonio and Santa Cruz.

During a search, the officers found cases of Mexican Corona and Superior beers, along with a six pack of Barrillito beer, for a total of 1,158 cans.

Gaynair was reportedly taken to the customs department following the incident.
