Belize Weather: Conditions clear up some for Father’s Day

By Aaron Humes: The National Meteorological Service projects cloudy skies at times with some showers, thunderstorms or periods of light rain developing over most areas.

High temperatures are 85 degrees along the coast; 88 degrees over inland areas and 78 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures range from 78 degrees along the coast to 73 degrees inland and 68 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly at five to 15 knots. The sea will be light chop with waves of two to four feet. A small craft caution and flood watch remain in effect.

Tides will be high at 1:46 this afternoon, then low at 9:04 this evening. Sunset is at 6:29 this evening and sunrise on Monday morning at 5:18.

Skies will continue cloudy on Monday with some showers or thunderstorms over most areas, then decreasing by nightfall to mostly over the south.
