‘Јеffеrу Вullеr shooting was not gang-related,’ police say

By Benjamin Flowers: Police say that investigations into the shooting death of 26-уеаr-оld Јеffеrу Вullеr suggest that the incident was not gang-related.

ASP Fitzroy Yearwood, head of communications for the office of the Commissioner of Police, explained today that Buller along with 28-year-old Akeem Bermudez was shot on Saturday, June 18 on 6th Street, Belize City. While Bermudez’s injuries were not life-threatening, Buller died from his injuries shortly after 1:00 a.m.

“What we know so far is that persons are saying this was an isolated incident, not gang-related. Something that transpired between Buller and these two parties earlier that night,” Yearwood said.

He noted that police have detained two people in connection with the incident but that no charges have been filed so far.
