Derrick Chavarria conquers U-23 crown in National Time Trial Championship

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: 501 Valvoline’s Derrick Chavarria took the U-23 Category in the National Individual Time Trial Championship on the John Smith Road between Ladyville and Western Paradise on Sunday.

Chavarria clocked 45 minutes and 59 seconds finishing second overall in the National Championship behind 501 Valvoline teammate Oscar Quiroz who won his third consecutive National Time Trial title.

The U-23 were very strong in the general classification as the top three riders were 2nd, 3rd, and 4th overall.

Еrіс Тrарр оf Wеѕtrас Аllіаnсе, who wаѕ third overall, was second in the U-23 in 46:03.

G-Flow’s Henri Li clocking 47:09 and fourth overall, was third in the U-23.
