By Aaron Humes: Police have arrested and charged 49-year-old Brian Gentle of San Ignacio Town with rape.
Acting on certain information, police visited the San Ignacio Community Hospital on Sunday and spoke to a woman aged 26.
She told them that she was forced to have intercourse by a man known to her on Sunday.
That man has now been identified as Gentle as part of police investigations.
