By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts sunny skies today with cloudy spells. Tonight, skies will be partly cloudy. A few showers and isolated thunderstorms will develop mainly along coastal areas.
High temperatures will be 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 89 degrees in inland areas and 82 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 78 degrees along the coast; 72 degrees inland and 66 degrees in the hills.
Winds are easterly at 10 to 20 knots. The sea will be moderate to rough with waves of four to seven feet. A small craft caution remains in effect for gusty winds and locally rough seas. A flood warning is in effect for northern Belize (Corozal and Orange Walk districts). A flood watch remains in effect for the rest of the country.
Tides will be low at 10:23 this morning and 10:39 this evening and high at 4:14 this afternoon. Sunset is at 6:29 this evening and sunrise on Wednesday at 5:19.
The outlook for Wednesday and Wednesday night is for partly cloudy skies with a few showers and isolated thunderstorms developing mainly over southern areas.
