COVID-19 update: Another death reported along with 277 new cases

By Aaron Humes: The latest wave of COVID-19 drags on with 277 more cases reported today for an active total of 1,977.

A death was reported in Orange Walk District; however, the Ministry of Health and Wellness has revamped the infographic, leaving out much of the previous information such as recoveries, cumulative deaths and status of persons hospitalized – of which there are presently seven.

The Belize District reported 108 new cases including 83 in Belize City; Cayo, 55 new cases including 15 in San Ignacio/Santa Elena and 14 in Belmopan; 24 in Corozal District including 17 in Corozal Town alone; 17 in Orange Walk District including nine in Orange Walk Town; 47 in Stann Creek District including 23 in Dangriga; and 26 in Toledo District including 17 in Punta Gorda.
