By BBN Staff: Belize City resident, Michael Flores,19, was remanded to the Belize Central Prison this week after being caught breaking into a man’s house.
Flores appeared in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court on Monday, where he was charged with a single count of burglary to which he pleaded not guilty.
He was remanded until August.
The complainant told police that he was awakened around 4:00 a.m. on Friday, June 17, to find Flores, his neighbor, in his house. The complainant also noted the glass louvers from his window had been removed and placed on the ground.
He managed to discover Flores before anything had been stolen.
