By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing (MIDH) put out a notice on Tuesday reminding drivers that Crooked Tree Roundabout is now fully open to traffic.

“Road users are reminded that the Crooked Tree Roundabout is now fully opened to traffic and are advised to traverse the circle properly, drive with caution and follow all traffic signs,” said the MIDH.

The Crooked Tree Roundabout is part of the MIDH’s ongoing road works along the Philip Goldson Highway and the Remate Road Bypass. The Ministry of Infrastructure Development said the project is expected to be completed by August 2023.

And considering that when roads are upgraded there’s quite a bit of speeding, the MIDH has some advice for drivers.

“The MIDH appreciates the patience and understanding of the public as it undertakes these works and strongly urges drivers to adhere to the legal speed limits, be courteous of pedestrians and other road users, and to refrain from driving under the influence,” said the MIDH.
