BEL restores power to area of Belize District affected for about an hour

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: BEL restored power to a section of Belize District that was without power for just under an hour on Wednesday afternoon.

Power was restored at about 2:10 pm to areas like Burrell Boom, the Boom Road area, Hattieville, Gracie Rock and Sunset Park and Western Pines in Western Paradise Village.

BEL had said earlier that the power outage was unplanned, and that it had sent crews to investigate the cause of the unplanned power outage to restore power supply as soon as possible.
