By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Ministry of Agriculture technical committee for Sembrando Vida – Belize met on Tuesday morning with the Mexican International Agency for Cooperation and Development (Amexcid) Sembrando Vida delegation at the Mexican Embassy in Belmopan.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Food security, and Enterprise (MAFSE), the meeting was held to discuss the planning and implementation of the project initiated by the government of Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador to curb migration.
Apart from the Mexico and Belize delegations, the meeting was also attended by Mexican Ambassador Martha Zamarripa, MAFSE Chief Executive Officer Servulo Baeza, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs CEO Amalia Mai.
