Belmopan City Council to host 1st ever Teen Summit

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The Belmopan City Council is planning to host the first-ever teen summit.

The teen summit is scheduled for July 23 at the Belize Biltmore Plaza Hotel in Belize City.

The Belmopan City council says that the ‘TAG teen summit’ will provide an opportunity for teen conversations while building confidence, kindness, leadership, and self-respect.

Some focus areas include societal pressures on teens, mental and sexual health, team building, peer pressure, bullying, and art and innovative entrepreneurship.

Those wishing to register can do so by calling the Council’s events department at 822-2271.
