By BBN Staff: Mainly fair weather prevails but a slight increase in moisture is expected today over some areas as a weak tropical wave crosses the country, according to the National Meteorological Service.
Skies today will be sunny with a few cloudy spells; a few showers and isolated thunderstorms will develop along central and southern coastal areas during the daytime and isolated elsewhere. Tonight, partly cloudy skies; shower activity will be generally isolated except for a few more over the south.
High temperatures will reach 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 93 degrees in inland areas and 82 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 78 degrees along the coast; 72 degrees inland and 66 degrees in the hills.
Winds are easterly at five to 15 knots. The sea will be slight with waves of one to three feet.
Tides will be low at 2:38 this afternoon, then high at 8:52 this evening. Sunset is at half-past six and sunrise on Sunday at 5:20.
The outlook for Sunday and Sunday night is for partly cloudy skies shower activity will be generally isolated, except for the south where a few more showers and thunderstorms can be expected.
