By BBN Staff: Three Ladyville men were remanded to the Belize Central Prison this week after stabbing a Harpy’s Security Guard during a robbery on Monday night on Antelope Street Extension in Belize City.
Twenty-year-old Anderson Nahun Trapp, 22-year-old Tyreke Jahleel Garnett, and 27-year-old, Aaron Albert Flowers, appeared in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court, charged with one count each of use of deadly means of harm, dangerous harm, and robbery.
No plea was taken from them and they were remanded until August 24.
The allegations against them are that the trio robbed the guard, Jamil Scott, of a grey knapsack containing a handheld radio valued at $400 and $800 in cash along with documents which were property of Harpy Security along with some of his personal items. During the robbery, Scott was stabbed twice.
