Belize Weather: Mostly fair weather continues

BBN Staff: A slightly moist easterly airflow will support mostly fair weather according to the National Meteorological Service.

Skies will be sunny with cloudy spells today and partly cloudy tonight. A few showers and isolated thunderstorms will affect mainly southern and inland areas this morning, with showers becoming isolated this afternoon and tonight.

High temperatures will reach 87 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 92 degrees over inland areas and 80 degrees in the hills. Tonight, temperatures fall to 80 degrees along the coast, 74 degrees inland and 68 degrees in the hills.

Winds will be easterly at five to 15 knots. The sea will be light chop with waves of two to four feet.

Tides will be high at 8:20 this morning and 10:11 this evening and low at 4:01 this afternoon. Sunset is at 6:31 this evening and sunrise on Tuesday at 5:20.

Tuesday sees continuing mainly fair weather with only isolated showers or thunderstorms.
