The wholesale price of imported LPG is now $4.85 per gallon, down two cents from the last mark of $4.87 реr gallon at the start of June.
The retail price per pound of LPG remains $1.48 in the municipalities and $1.50 in rural areas. Thus, a 100-pound cylinder would cost $148 in Belize City and other municipalities and $150 in rural areas. The corresponding prices are $6.47 per gallon and $6.57 per gallon.
The reduction is ascribed to lower acquisition costs for propane.
