By BBN Staff: The Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing (MIDH) is continuing its works in northern Belize upgrading road infrastructure and conducting repairs in several villages.
The most recent updates shared by the Ministry show new streets under construction in Chunox Village Corozal district, as well as crews in Trial Farm Village, Orange Walk District, clearing out debris from drains to alleviate flood conditions.
“Once that is done and the floods subside work on the roads in the north to repair damaged infrastructure will commence,” the MIDH said.
The ministry noted that some of the works coincided with the village council elections in Chunox, but while elections come and go, the work never stops.
