Police charge Coast Guard officer Alberto Espinoza with wounding stepdaughter

By Aaron Humes: Police have confirmed the arrest of and charges against Alberto Antonio Espinoza, 34, a member of the Coast Guard of Orange Walk District, for the crimes of use of deadly means of harm and wounding.

Espinoza is accused of stabbing his stepdaughter in the village of Trial Farm, Orange Walk District, several days ago, after which he went on the run and police issued a warrant for his arrest.

Espinoza handed himself in on Tuesday and was arrested and charged today.
