San Pedro duo who held woman at gunpoint during home invasion remanded to prison

By BBN Staff: Two San Pedro residents have been remanded to the Belize Central Prison following a home invasion where the female victim was held at gunpoint.

Paul White and Justin Campos appeared in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court, charged with aggravated burglary, burglary, aggravated assault, abetment to aggravated assault, keeping a firearm and keeping ammunition without being granted a gun license.

In court, both men pleaded not guilty to the charges but due to the nature of the offences, they were denied bail and remanded to the Belize Central Prison until August 29, 2022.

The allegations against them are that they entered the female victim’s home on Monday, June 27, armed with a firearm with the intention of harming her.
