By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On Monday, authorities found an abandoned trailer truck with migrants inside, some already dead.

The truck was abandoned in San Antonio, Texas amidst the sweltering heat.

Most of the migrants are believed to be from Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador.

In Nahuala, Guatemala, the families of Wilmer Tulul, 14, and Melvin Guachiac, 13 are mourning their deaths.

The teens left home en route to the United States in hopes of the “American Dream” but lost their lives in the deadliest human smuggling tragedy in the U.S.

The teens were among the 53 victims, Reuters report.

Wilmer’s grandma told Reuters that her grandson had a dream and he made the journey but the dream never arrived.

The families honored their loved ones with altars outside their homes with photos of the teens.
