Contributed by Mora Town Vibes: In commemoration of its fifth anniversary, Mora Town Vibes Inc. has organized a beautification project to improve the aesthetics of the Macal River Park in San Ignacio Town.
On Saturday, July 2, community members will come together to repaint the gazebo, chairs, and
benches. Additionally, preparation for a mural bearing historical information will begin. Through the support of Mr. Zahir Figueroa, Deputy Mayor of San Ignacio/Santa Elena Town Council and councilor with responsibility for parks, two broken benches were replaced, and the gazebo area was cleaned.
Established on July 3, 2017, Mora Town Vibes Inc. seeks to “build strong community relationships by organizing, encouraging and facilitating initiatives. We strengthen the community by empowering its vulnerable citizens.” Therefore, the beautification project is a fulfilment of the organization’s mission.
Residents and community organizations are invited to support the efforts of Mora Town Vibes
Inc. by participating in this community initiative. The project kicks off at 9:00 a.m. at the Gazebo.
