By Aaron Humes: Santiago Cal, 67, and Ernesto Cal, 33, were chopped following an altercation with authorities in the village of Aguacate, Toledo District.
The accused perpetrators are Domingo Cal, 52, first alcalde of Aguacate, and Estevan Cal, 27, of Silver Creek village. (The relationships between the four were not established).
Domingo and Estevan are accused of chopping Santiago and Ernesto during an altercation, reportedly over a land dispute. Santiago and Ernesto are hospitalized while Domingo and Estevan have been detained pending charges.
