By BBN Staff: Mainly fair conditions prevail, but an increase in moisture is expected tonight with the approach of a tropical wave according to the National Meteorological Service.
Skies today will be cloudy in spells with isolated showers, and tonight cloudy at times with a few showers, periods of rain and thunderstorms developing over some coastal and southern areas later.
High temperatures will reach 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 93 degrees over inland areas; and 82 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 80 degrees along the coast, 72 degrees inland and 68 degrees in the hills.
Winds are easterly to northeasterly at five to 15 knots. The sea will be choppy with waves of three to five feet.
Tides will be high at 1:01 this afternoon and low at 8:17 this evening. Sunset is at 6:31 this evening and sunrise on Tuesday at 5:23.
Expect a few showers, periods of rain and thunderstorms over most places on Tuesday, but activity will gradually decrease and primarily affect the south by Tuesday night.
