Dangriga’s Emerson Nunez found shot to death after altercation

By Aaron Humes: Police believe 33-year-old Emerson Nunez of Dangriga Town may have known the men whom he argued with on Sunday before he was shot by one of them.

According to police, Nunez was found shot dead around 1 a.m. outside his home in the New Site area after neighbours heard what they told police they believed to be a “loud argument” followed by gunshots.

Police, according to Assistant Superintendent of Police Fitzroy Yearwood, are not sure if Nunez’s death is related to any other recent incidents, including the death of Michael Robert Coote two weeks ago.
