Belize Weather: Fair weather continues but showers over some areas

By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service projects sunny skies today with a few cloudy spells. Tonight, skies will be partly cloudy. Shower activity will be generally isolated during the daytime, except for a few showers and thunderstorms developing mainly over central and inland areas this afternoon. Tonight expect a few showers and thunderstorms to develop mainly along southern areas.

High temperatures are 88 degrees along the coast; 93 degrees inland and 82 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 80 degrees along the coast; 74 degrees inland and 68 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly at five to 15 knots. The seas will be choppy with waves of three to five feet.

Tides will be low at 10:35 this morning and 10:17 this evening and high at 4:19 this afternoon. Sunset occurs at 6:31 this evening and sunrise on Friday is at 5:23 in the morning.

Outlook for Friday and Friday night is cloudy spells with a few showers and thunderstorms to develop mainly over southern and inland areas.
