By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Prime Minister and CARICOM Chairman John Briceño said in a social media post from Brazil that George Price’s belief that Belize can be the bridge between Central America, wider Latin America and the Caribbean is a reality.
“The long-held belief of Father of the Nation [George Price] that Belize can be the bridge between Central America, wider Latin America and the Caribbean was always well informed,” said Prime Minister John briceño.
“Today, during my official visit to Guyana, I join that nation in a visit to Roraima, Brazil. Here I greet and meet with Antonio Oliverio Garcia de Alameida, Governor of Roraima Brazil, his wife and other dignitaries.”
“Roraima wishes to do business with Guyana, CARICOM, and Belize,” said the Pri9mer Minister.
Prime Minister Briceño said in Roraima he has discussed trade as the Brazilian State is big on agriculture and is prepared to share technical experiences with Belize.
“Belize would be key to strategically partner with Brazil in accessing the Central American and Mexican market,” he concluded.
