By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Belize City Council is closing its offices on Friday afternoon.

The Belize City Council said all of its offices would be closed at 1:00 pm with the exception of the Michael Finnegan Market.

The Belize City Council said that the closure was to allow its staff to attend the Christian Workers Union meeting.

Meanwhile, online payments to the City Council continue to be available, said the Belize City Council.
