Thieves break into Quan’s Trading Center warehouse

By Aaron Humes: Burglars targeted the Mile 2 ¾ George Price Highway warehouse of Quan’s Trading Center early on Thursday morning.

Police say the owner of the establishment confirmed that the break-in took place between 3 p.m. on Wednesday and 7:45 a.m. on Thursday. Entry was gained into the building by using a double aluminum ladder to access the second level which is about 15 feet high and cutting the zinc wall behind the building’s northern side.

The thieves took a white metal safe containing US $500 in different denominations and several live rounds of ammunition; (1) black Sony Laptop valued $1300, (1) black HP Laptop valued at $1300, (1) dark blue Samsung A50 cellphone with calling number 610-2852 valued $800, and (18) Cauleuche wine bottles value unknown.

The safe was found pried open and dumped in the nearby bushes along with various live rounds of ammunition. Investigations continue.
