Belize Weather: Fair weather prevails

By BBN Staff: Mostly fair weather is prevailing according to the National Meteorological Service.

Skies today will be sunny with cloudy spells and tonight partly cloudy. Showers or thunderstorms will be isolated except for a few more over the west and north this morning and over the south tonight.

High temperatures are 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 93 degrees inland and 82 degrees in the hills. It will be 81 degrees along the coast; 74 degrees inland and 68 degrees in the hills tonight.

Winds are easterly at 10 to 20 knots. The seas will be choppy with waves of three to five feet.

Tides will be low at 12:52 this afternoon and 11:55 this evening and high at 7:12 this evening. Sunset is at 6:31 this evening and sunrise on Sunday is at 5:24.

Mainly fair weather continues through Sunday. Showers or thunderstorms except for the south on Sunday night will be isolated.
