Belize Weather: A very nice Sunday but rain in the immediate future

By BBN Staff: Generally fair weather prevails according to the National Meteorological Service.

Skies today will be sunny with cloudy spells with isolated showers or thunderstorms.

High temperatures will be 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 93 degrees over inland areas; and 82 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 79 degrees along the coast; 73 degrees inland and 68 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly at five to 15 knots. The seas will be light chop with waves of two to four feet.

Tides will be low at 1:52 this afternoon then high at 8:20 this evening.

The sun sets at 6:31 this evening and rises at 5:24 Monday morning.

A tropical wave will support a few showers and isolated thunderstorms across the country on Monday, decreasing Monday night.
