Sagitun GIRLZ’ Sabrina Eiley voted NAWL MVP

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Sabrina Eiley of the National Amateur Women’s League Champions Sagitun GIRLZ was voted the Most Valuable Player of the 2022 Closing Season.

She was the only player from the champions recognized by the Football Federation of Belize.

Subchampions San Pedro Pirates raked five individual awards. Dennisa Mairena was voted Best Goalkeeper, Tamara Baptist was the Best Forward, Olivia DaCosta was recognized as the Best Midfielder, Elva Nunez was given the Best Young Player award, and Jonathan Hooper got the Best Coach award.

Third Place Jewel Fury took four awards. Khalydia Velasquez was the Top Goalscorer, Jesselle Conorque was voted the Best Defender, Miguel Gongora was given the Best Manager award and Jewel Fury were also given the Fair Play Award.
