Dirt bike stolen in Santa Elena

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: There have been increased reports of thieves stealing bicycles and motorcycles in Santa Elena Town, Cayo.

Edward Garcia says that around 4:30 am today, someone entered Little Creek Restaurant in Santa Elena and stole a black Lifan dirt bike.

Last month, the San Ignacio and Santa Elena Town Council issued a statement advising owners to take precautionary measures to avoid becoming victims of motorcycle theft.

Anyone with information about Garcia’s bike is asked to call 624-6784 or the police.
