Drowning victim in Cayo identified as 23-year-old Keeron Dominguez

By Benjamin Flowers: Authorities have identified the male drowning victim in the Cayo District earlier today as 23-year-old Keeron Dominguez of Orange Walk.

Dominguez was visiting his family in Blackman Eddy Village today, and went for a swim near the residence of his relatives.

Dominguez reportedly jumped into the water in a fairly deep area and was struggling. Family members and friends tried to save him but he still went under and drowned.

Authorities recovered his body shortly after the drowning.
