Family of Minelva Williams asks for blood donations for cancer patient who needs surgery

By BBN Staff: The family of Ms. Minelva “Mini” Williams is kindly asking members of the public who are able and willing to donate blood to do so on her behalf.

Ms. Williams was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer 6 months ago and is currently at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital preparing for surgery after a fall in which she fractured her hip.

She is currently in urgent need of 5 pints of blood. Her blood type is B+. Anyone willing to make a donation may visit the blood bank and give a donation in her name so that doctors may proceed with her surgery. Anyone wishing to provide any additional support may contact the family at 622-2325.
