By BBN Staff: A 22-year-old Belize City resident is out on bail after being charged with breaking into the home of his former employer and stealing a number of items.

Mark Arnold was arraigned in the Belize City Magistrate’s court, charged with a single count of burglary, to which he pleaded not guilty.

The prosecution did not object to bail so it was granted to him in the sum of $3,000 plus two sureties of the same.

Allegations against Arnold are that on Saturday, April 30, he broke into the victim’s Bermudan Landing home, and stole an assortment of items to a total value of $505.

The victim reviewed footage from cameras on his house and identified his former employee, Mark Arnold, to police.
