BREAKING: Guess who’s back? Patrick Faber returns to House of Representatives

By Aaron Humes, Belmopan: Collet area representative Patrick Faber is back in the House of Representatives here, breaking a non-appearance streak dating back to January of this year.

Faber was unceremoniously ousted as leader of the United Democratic Party and Leader of the Opposition at the end of January following a personal scandal. Recently there were reports that successor Moses “Shyne” Barrow had reached out to Faber to begin the process of reconciliation. He is seated next to Tracey Taegar-Panton, whom he supported against Barrow in the party’s leadership convention in May.

It remains to be seen how much Faber, considered an effective debater, contributes to today’s proceedings.
