Gun and cocaine found on separate days after police operations in St. Margaret Village

By BBN Staff: Police report that on Wednesday and Thursday of this week, they conducted operations in St. Margaret Village on the Hummingbird Highway in the Cayo District and have some results to show for it.

A 12-guage shotgun was found on Thursday and was labelled as found property as no one was in the area when the gun was found.

On Wednesday, July 13th, at about 5:30 p.m., police searched an abandoned cement structure off the highway, and found 8.9 grams of cocaine.

No one was in the area at the time and as a result, the cocaine was sealed, labeled, and deposited as found property.
